Lagniappe

Main Street will be closed for this event from 4:30 - 9:30 pm

Monday, November 23, 6:00-9:00 pm

Downtown Rochester will sparkle with holiday spirit as local merchants show their appreciation to the community during the much-anticipated Lagniappe event. Join us on Monday, November 23, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm, to celebrate Lagniappe’s 52nd anniversary, where "a little something extra" awaits all our valued patrons.

Lagniappe, a Creole word for "a little something extra," embodies the spirit of giving and appreciation. It's the perfect way for the merchants of Downtown Rochester to express their gratitude to the community for their support throughout the year.

Once again, the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA), in collaboration with City of Rochester officials and MDOT, will close Main Street for the event. Main Street will be closed from Second Street to University Drive from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Detour signs will guide traffic around Rochester and Rochester Hills. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking, and due to the large crowds, we kindly ask that you leave your four-legged friends at home.

As part of the evening's festivities, the DDA will present "a little something extra" with the debut of The Big, Bright Light Show, sponsored by Fox Automotive. The program will kick off at 6:00 pm, with more details to come as we get closer to the event!
