It’s hard to believe it’s already July! And with July comes the official start of the summer season in downtown Rochester: Movies in the Moonlight!
Movies in the Moonlight is our free weekly outdoor film “festival” in downtown Rochester. The event is held over four consecutive Saturdays in July.
July 10: Iron Man* (PG-13**)
Presented by Mind, Body & Spirits
After an accident, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark creates a suit that sustains his life. When he heals, he decides to use his technology to fight crime and leads a double life as Iron Man in this comic book adventure. Kids can come early to take aim at the Iron Man target game. Also, take some time to visit the Whoo UR Upscale Resale for a Cause booth for more information on this organization.
*Iron Man has replaced New Moon.
Movies in the Moonlight is located in the Farmers’ Market parking lot at the corner of E. Third & Water, one block east of Main. Featured movies begin at dusk (approximately 9:15 pm) and pre-shows start at 8:30 pm. Admission is free, so arrive early for the best seating. Movies in the Moonlight is BYOC (Bring Your Own Chairs)!
Popcorn, candy, hot dogs and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the Rochester Lions Club concession wagon, but you are welcome to bring your own goodies, too (no alcohol or glass containers allowed).
