BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND A FALL JUNK IN THE TRUNK HAS BEEN SCHEDULED!

Saturday, September 14
9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Farmers’ Market Upper Lot (E. Third)

What will be for sale? Almost everything! Downtown Rochester businesses, area residents and those that sell hand-made crafts all will participate in the event. Shoppers can expect residents to have resale items such as furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes, glassware, and accessories. A variety of downtown businesses and crafters will also be there to sell their specialties.

WHO can sell at Junk in the Trunk? Downtown businesses, Rochester area residents and those that sell hand-made crafts are welcome to sign up for Junk in the Trunk.

What can I Sell? Almost anything! Popular items for resale are furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes and glassware, accessories, and handmade crafts. Please note, from last year’s experience, items such as clothing, stuffed animals, bedding etc, do not sell well. When choosing your items think antique, not old, and vintage, not used.

What if there’s SEVERE WEATHER? A rain date has been pre-scheduled for September 21. If severe weather is in the forecast, all participants will be notified on June 21. No refunds will be issued if you’re unable to make the rain date. The DDA will have the final decision on what ‘severe weather’ will cause the event to be postponed.

Junk in the Trunk will take place in the Farmers’ Market Upper Lot to be on E. Third.

SPACE DETAILS: A single parking space measures at approximately 10ft x 20ft. Spaces will be sold at $35 each, or two spaces for $50. Vendors have the option to sell directly out of their ‘trunk’ or utilize the whole parking space for display. If the latter choice is picked, it is the vendor’s responsibility to find a public parking space outside of the Junk in the Trunk parking lot. NO additional reserved parking spaces will be provided by the DDA beyond the Junk in the Trunk lot.

WHAT IS PROVIDED: The DDA will provide all vendors with their reserved parking spaces only. Any tents, tables, chairs…etc must be provided by the vendor. Please remember the size of your space when planning your set-up.
